What is Start Menu in Computer

On many computer operating systems, a Start menu is an interface that gives users access to programs and features. Usually seen in the lower left corner of the screen, it has a logo and a number of settings. The menu can be clicked by users to open apps, open new documents, access settings, and see recent activity.

All versions of Windows, with the exception of Windows 8, have had a Start menu since Microsoft Windows 95's introduction. Earlier iterations of Windows likewise lacked a Start menu prior to the advent of Windows 95.

Procedures for the start menu

We can perform any of the following to bring up the Start menu, which contains all of our files, settings, and applications:

1. Click the Start icon in the taskbar's left or center.

2. Using the keyboard, press the Windows logo key.

3. From the left or bottom center of your screen, swipe upward.
